Dr. Godfrey Kacholi

Dr. Godfrey Kacholi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health Systems Management at the School of Public Administration and Management, with over ten years of experience. He is a Chief Editor of the East African Journal of Health Monitoring and Evaluation hosted by the Centre of Excellence in Health Monitoring and Evaluation at Mzumbe University. Dr. Kacholi holds PhD in Public Health, a Master of Science in Health Monitoring and Evaluation, a Master of Arts in Health Policy and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Poverty Analysis, and a Bachelor of Public Administration in Health Services Management. He previously worked with CARE International in Tanzania on several initiatives and projects, including Workplace HIV/AIDS Mainstreaming and Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) through the Global Fund- HIV, Malaria, and TB program. He also served as a Quality Improvement Advisor, Compliance Manager, and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in the project, which aims to provide Technical Assistance to the Government of Tanzania (GOT) and Public Health Institutions (PHIs) toward Sustained Health System Strengthening in Tanzania under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
