Christen Said

Christen Said, MPH is the Country Representative for UCSF in Tanzania and has led UCSF’s in-country CDC-funded portfolio since 2011. The portfolio that she oversees covers a full range of strategic information activities, including disease surveillance, program evaluation, data quality and data use, data visualization, and electronic data systems. She works closely with the Tanzanian and Zanzibar Ministries of Health, PEPFAR and USG agencies, and implementing partners. She was also part of a team that developed a Master’s program in Health Monitoring and Evaluation at Mzumbe University.
